Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

What is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is pain in the hand and wrist, caused by compression of the Median nerve and the blood vessels that supply it. Typically, CTS develops when the tissues around the median nerve swell and press on the nerve itself. Many times, this is a result of repetitive stress and overuse of the muscles that control your hands and fingers. If addressed early, the process is reversible.
